Larry Vandersnick is a retired judge and attorney with over 30 years of legal experience in drug trafficking, possession, and D.U.I. cases. In 1977, he became the Assistant Henry County State’s Attorney in Illinois where his work focused on juvenile cases.

Corrections Officer Sheri Ray began her law enforcement career in 2000 with the North Carolina Department of Corrections in Raleigh. She supervised the Maximum Security Unit and served as a field training officer, the Lead Investigator of Security Threat Groups, and the Negotiations Lead for the Prison Emergency Response Team.

Brian Leininger started as an Assistant District Attorney in inner-city Kansas City, Kansas. He later became General Legal Counsel to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Brian Leininger is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the NORML Legal Committee.

Nate Schwiethale began his law enforcement career in 2001 as a patrol officer with the Wichita Police Department in Kansas. As a member of the Advanced Crisis Intervention Team, he was one of the first officers in his department to receive specialized training to help mentally ill individuals.

Chief Mike Ward (Ret.) began his law enforcement career in 1985 as an officer with the Crescent Springs Police Department in Kentucky. He served as a patrol officer, sergeant, and lieutenant before becoming chief and leading the department for 6 years.
