The event will begin at 5:30pm. CT state Rep Raghib Allie-Brennan and CT state Sen. Julie Kushner will speak first. Immediately after, Lawrence will participate in a panel discussion on marijuana legalization, regulation, and taxation. Co-panelists include Rev. Tommie Jackson of the Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Kebra Smith-Bolden – President of CURE-CT, and Matt Simon – New England Political Director at the Marijuana Policy Project. After the panel there will be Q & A with the audience.
