Today is #GivingTuesday, a day to put the spotlight on generosity and acknowledge charitable organizations working for real, tangible change in the world.
LEAP’s speakers work hard throughout the year to amplify the law enforcement voice for criminal justice and drug policy reform. They focus their energies on keeping communities safer, speaking out against injustice, and repairing trust between the police and the public. Today you’ll hear from some of our speakers directly, telling you what giving their time to LEAP means to them – including some surprising stories about their audiences’ reactions!
All of LEAP’s more than 200 law enforcement speakers volunteer their time, which is a pretty extraordinary thing. Donations to LEAP go toward keeping speakers out there on the road and in the media, recruiting new speakers, and working on crucial reform efforts in key states.
